healthy chicken wings trick is to marinate, This is my version of healthy chicken wings! The trick is to marinate for one day. By marinating the chicken wings I give them a lot of flavors, I keep them light and they still come out juicy. This is a very simple version that can be made more interesting by brushing the wings 20 minutes before the completion of the sauce of your choices like Teriyaki or BBQ.

The main ingredients:

  • Chicken Wings: 16 Chicken drumettes
  • Onion: 1 large
  • Garlic: 2 cloves of garlic
  • Lemons: 2
  • Olive oil: 2 tbsp
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Chop the onion and garlic cloves.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chicken drumettes, onion, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Squeeze the juice from the lemons and pour over the mixture.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for about a day. Toss the mixture twice.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Place the chicken pieces on a baking sheet and cook for 1 to 1.5 hours or until the juice is clear. Turn once
  6. Let it sit for 10 minutes before eating the chicken.
