How to make biryani gravy recipe step by step

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 tbsp Oil
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 1 tsp Fenugreek Leaves
  • For Onion Paste (1 Cup) 
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 3-4  Cloves Garlic
  • 2 Tomatoes (Grated)
  • 3 tbsp Coconut paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp coriander seed powder
  • 1 tsp Biryani Masala Powder
  • 1/2 ltr Water
  • Coriander Leaves (Chopped)
  • Salt

Easy Biryani Gravy recipe at home 

Method: 

1. Take oil in a frying pan, add bay leaves, fenugreek leaves, onion paste, and fry.

2. Now add tomatoes and fry till oil separates.

3. Also add some coconut paste until the oil separates.

4. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander seed powder, and biryani masala powder, and fry it.

5. Finally, add water, salt, and coriander and let the curry boil well.

6. After the curry boils well, turn off the heat and serve the delicious and hot biryani gravy.

Biryani Gravy Curry

A hot spice used exclusively for biryani, using that garam masala,  make the biryani gravy in a pan.

Heat three to four tablespoons of oil.  When the oil is hot, add 2 bay leaves. With a teaspoon of Kasuri methi here you make a paste of a large onion with two green chilies, 1-inch of ginger, and three to four cloves of garlic. Let's add this and saute it. You are going to saute this till the onion paste is nice and brown and the oil is separated.

This gravy that you are making is basically an accompaniment for biryanis. You can also add your veggies or your meat to this and make the biryani. The onions have browned really well, now let's add two tomatoes that you have graduated and you are going to saute this till the oil separates the oil has separated. Then you are adding coconut paste So you took half a cup of coconut fresh grated coconut, and you ground it into a nice fine paste. Then add about 3 tablespoons of it and go to saute.

Gravy curry

When the oil has separated now, let's add our dry spices, add half a teaspoon of turmeric powder, a tablespoon of red chili powder, a teaspoon of coriander seed powder, and finally, the biryani masala that had been made last time adds a teaspoon of that as well. Let's saute this, the masala has got fried really well, now let's add a half-liter of water to this.

Add some freshly chopped coriander salt to taste, and now let's bring this curry to a boil; the gravy is boiled well. Let's shut the flame and remove it from the serving bowl. I'm going to garnish this with a little bit of Kasuri methi powder and some freshly chopped coriander leaves. You can add your favorite veggies or meats of your choice and make biryani with this gravy or you can serve this gravy as an accompaniment with your biryani, so do try this recipe.
